On July 25, 1995, I came home to find an unusual-looking bird standing in my driveway. He walked right over to me, so I picked him up and took him inside for safekeeping (In a house with 3 cats). We tried without success to find his owner, so he's been with us ever since.

It turns out that he's a small hookbill parrot called a Canary-Winged Parakeet, also known as a Canary-Winged Beebee. His name is Chicky.
